English: The Seirol Wyn was a three-masted iron barque built in 1877 by Russel & Co., Port Glasgow for Hugh Pritchard, Penetraeth, Anglesea. 1898 sold to A. Meling, Stavanger, Norway. 1900 sold to Rederi Actiesellskabet "Perfect" (Jean B. Linaaer), Sandefjord, and renamed Perfect. 1916 sold to Skibs A/S "Bauer" (A. Gordon Firing), Sandefjord. 1917 June 14, while on a voyage from Bahia Blanca to Copenhagen with wheat, the barque sunk by gunfire from the German submarine U66 64 miles west of Uduar. The crew managed to get away in the boats and was picked up by the Dutch steamer Zaanland, Amsterdam, the following day.
Her dimensions were: 211.3 × 34 × 21.1 ft (64.4 × 10.3 × 6.4 m) and tonnage: 1115 GRT, 1065 NRT and 997 tons under deck.^[1][2]
