English: The Neuer Strom (i.e. New Stream), also Seekanal (i.e. Sea Channel), is the through cut, newly dug between 1897 and 1903, of the mouth of the Warnow river into the Baltic Sea, the old estuary has since been called Alter Strom (i.e. Old Stream). The Neuer Strom separates the districts of Hohe Düne and Warnemünde, both localities of Rostock in Mecklenburg (part of Mecklenburg-Hither Pomerania), Germany
