English: ScotRail (National Express) was the sole operator of domestic passenger train services in Scotland, and the London to Scotland 'Caledonian Sleeper' services. It took over the franchise upon privatisation on 31 March 1997 and held it until 16 October 2004. It was succeeded by First ScotRail.
