Photographs of sand sculptures may be uploaded as they are covered by freedom of panorama in Singapore. Although Singapore law requires copyrighted artworks to be permanently installed in public places for freedom of panorama to apply to them, sand sculptures may be regarded as permanent if they are publicly displayed for the whole of their natural lifetime and then allowed to crumble away or be destroyed, and not moved elsewhere for display: see "Commons:Freedom of panorama#Permanent vs temporary".
