English: Saluzi (飒露紫) is one of the Six Steeds of Zhao Mausoleum by Yan Liben, depicting the six favourite battle chargers of the second emperor of the Tang dynasty, Taizong. Saluzi is shown during a moment in the Battle of the Mang Hills (Mangshan) outside Luoyang against the rival ruler Wang Shichong: the horse received an arrow in the chest, and the general Qiu Xinggong is shown trying to pull it out.[1][2]
