English: Monnet's theatre built in 1752 for the Opéra-Comique of the Foire Saint-Laurent. The theatre was later moved to the rue Bergère. It was neoclassical in design and had two levels of boxes with an amphitheatre at the rear and a parterre for standees in front. François Boucher participated in the design of the theatre and painted the ceilings.
