English: In the afternoon at 3pm a parade accompanied with the music of the Mohács Wind Orchestra, liturgy held at the statue of St. John of Nepomuk, then a wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial plaque of the victims of the Danube and a community pleasure cruising on the Danube, still accompanied by music. In the evening, before dark, the mayor greets and the parish priest blesses the boaters of Mohács gathering together, who afterwards sail up to the Šokac Ferry and after dark they lower thousands of candles (called 'jánoska') into the waters of the Danube.
Magyar: Nepomuki Szent János-ünnep, Mohács, 2024. május 18. Délután 3-kor céhzászlós felvonulás a Mohácsi Fúvószenekar muzsikájára, igeliturgia Nepomuki Szent János-szobránál, majd koszorúzás a Duna mohácsi áldozatainak emléktáblájánál és sétakompozás továbbra is muzsikaszó mellett. Este, sötétedés előtt a polgármester köszönti, a plébános megáldja a mohácsi csónakosokat, akik a Sokac-révhez felhajózva sötétedés után több ezer gyertyát (ún. jánoskát) eresztenek le a Duna vízén.
