Rous Memorial Hospital, Newmarket was designed by Frederick William Roper, and was built in 1878. It was once almshouses, then a cottage hospital, and as of 2023 it has been converted into sheltered apartments for people connected with horseracing. It is now known as Rous Court. Listed building no. 1194618. The building was named after Admiral Rous, a patron of the racing business.
