- Covered (and sides panelled or curtained)

Rockaways were developed about 1830. From about 1870 often known as depot wagons and from about 1890 as station wagons

- Rockaway-Landau and Rockaway-Landaulet or Landau-Rockaway and Landaulet-Rockaway combining the features of the two vehicles
