English: Rite Record Productions, Inc. was an Ohio, Cincinnati, based record company, founded by Carl Burckhardt in 1950 (originally named Gateway Records, Inc., later renamed). The company owned several budget labels (Gateway, Big 4 Hits, Kentucky and others), for which Rite recorded the artists and manufactured the records. Beginning in 1955, Rite also began a custom pressing program, which was continued until 1985, when Rite closed. Part of the company were labels, a recoding studio and a pressing plant.
Deutsch: Rite Record Productions, Inc. was ein US-amerikanisches Tonträgerunternehmen aus Ohio, Cincinnati, dass 1950 von Carl Burckhardt gegründet wurde (eigentlich als Gateway Records, Inc. gegründet, später unbenannt). Das Unternehmen besaß verschiedene Budget-Labels (Gateway, Big 4 Hits, Kentucky und weitere), für die Rite die Künstler aufnahmn und die Platten herstellte. Ab 1955 stellte Rite auch Custom-Platten her, was bis 1985 weitergeführt wurde, als Rite geschlossen wurde. Teil des Unternehmens waren Labels, ein Studio und ein Preßwerk.
