There were two manufacturers of Riker trucks, both related to electric vehicle pioneer and later Locomobile president Andrew L. Riker.
The first Riker truck was an Electric, built 1897-1903 in his Riker Electric Motor Company in Brooklyn, New York, and Elizabethport, New Jersey. See Category:Riker vehicles.
This category ist for the later company. The second truck was a conventional 4 and 5 ton truck made by the Locomobile Company of America in Bridgeport, Connecticut, of which Riker was president. These trucks were built 1915-1921. Production ended when the the holding that owned Locomobile folded.
