English: The first "Retiro" train station ever. Located on the corner of Av. del Libertador and Ramos Mejía, it was built by the Buenos Aires Northern Railway in 1862 as terminus of the line. Its tracks then extended to Estación Central until it was destroyed in 1897 so it was terminus again.
The destruction of Estación Central caused Retiro BANR was also provisional terminus of the Buenos Aires and Rosario Railway until 1901 when it inaugurated its own terminal. The BANR was acquired in 1888 by the Central Argentine Railway which used this station until 1915, when Retiro station FCCA was inaugurated so the BANR building entered into disuse and was later demolished.
