English: The "Maguire Residence" (also named "Residencia Hume") is a mansion located in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It was commissioned by engineer Alexander Hume and designed by British architect Carlos Ryder. The house was inaugurated in 1890, and the Hume family lived there until 1920. The house waw then acquired by the Duhau-Maguire family. The mansion was declared national historic monument in 2002. – source: Para Ti
