English: Raymonde Dien (b. 1929), French communist, member of the France-Vietnam Friendship Society Central Committee, said the Vietnam Communist Party and the Vietnamese people had made great contributions to the global fight for independence. In February 1950, Raymonde Dien lay across railways in France to stop trains carrying soldiers and weapons to Vietnam. Both were jailed for their anti-war activities.
