The Rapa Nui and Sala y Gómez Subtropical Broadleaf Forests Ecoregion is a designated ecoregion by WWF and One Earth. It is classified as a Tropical & Subtropical Moist Broadleaf Forests Biome. It is the sole ecoregion in the Salas y Gómez & Easter Islands Bioregion.
The ecoregion is the easternmost member of the Oceania Realm. Little remains of the original forest in Rapa Nui, though species such as Toromiro Tree (Sophoro toromiro) are still extant. Sala y Gómez is a rocky island 415km northeast of Rapa Nui; it is 300m long at low tide and 70m long at high tide.
