English: Queenslander architecture is a modern term for the vernacular type of architecture of Queensland, Australia. It is also found in the northern parts of the adjacent state of New South Wales and shares many traits with architecture in other states of Australia but is distinct and unique. The type developed in the 1840s and is still constructed today, displaying an evolution of local style. The term is primarily applied to residential construction, although some commercial and other types of construction are identified as Queenslander. (→Queenslander (architecture))
Français : L’architecture Queenslander (ou Old Queenslander) est un style architectural répandu au Queensland, en Australie. On le trouve également dans la partie nord de la Nouvelle-Galles du Sud. Ce style s'est répandu des années 1840 jusqu'aux années 1960 et a été utilisé principalement pour la construction de maisons individuelles, bien que certains édifices commerciaux tels que les hôtels aient été construits a travers toute l'Australie dans le style Victorian Filigree très proche.
