English: Pumayyaton and Pnytarion's inscriptions are two separated inscriptions, Phoenician and Greek, engraved on the same marble base which was found near Dromolaxia (near Kition). About 3 hundred years after the first inscription, the Phoenician, was engraved, the base was turned upside down and the second inscription, in Greek, was engraved; the inscriptions have no connection and are not a bilingual inscription. The Phoenician inscription dedicates a statue in 328 BC, during the reign of king Pumayyaton over Kition and Idalion. The Greek inscription honors a statue to Pnytarion, a woman from a powerful family, in the sanctuary of Aesculapius and Hygieia. It is now exhibited in Larnaca District Archaeological Museum.
עברית : כתובות פמייתן ופניטריון הן שתי כתובות נפרדות, אחת פיניקית ואחת יוונית, החקוקות על בסיס שיש לפסל שנמצא בדרומולקסיה (בקרבת כתיון). כשלוש מאות שנה לאחר שנחקקה הכתובת הראשונה, הפיניקית, הבסיס נהפך ונחקקה עליו הכתובת השניה, היוונית. הכתובותלא קשורות אחת לשניה ולא מהוות כתובת דו־לשונית. הכתובת הפיניקית מקדישה "סמל" (פסל) בשנת 328 לפנה"ס, בימי מלכות פמייתן על כתי ואדיל (כתיון ואידליון); הכתובת היוונית מקדישה פסל לפניטריון, אשה ממשפחה חזקה, במקדש אסקלפיוס והיגייה. הכתובת מוצגת כעת במוזאון מחוז לרנקה.
