English: This chair commissioned by the Reymond Verchère de la Bâtie (pastor from 1764 to 1784) is the work of Jean Desbrun, sculptor at Montbrison. Painted in wood imitation and gilded in 1838 by Ravery son, Decorator in Saint-Chamond: the gaps of this polychrome painting hint at a predominantly blue and cream that was probably the original color harmony.

Pintada en imitación de madera y dorada en 1838 por el hijo de Ravery, decorador en Saint-Chamond: las deficiencias de las pinturas policromadas hacen alusión a una predominantemente crema y azul que fue probablemente la armonía de los colores originales.
