English: Media related to Promontory Summit (also known as Promontory Gap), a gap (mountain pass) between the Promontory Mountains and the North Promontory Mountains in eastern Box Elder County, Utah, United States, that was the site of the connecting of the Transcontinental Railroad.
(The area is frequently, but incorrectly, referred to as Promontory Point. Within Utah, Promontory Point is either a locale and a cape, both of which are located near each other, but about 30 miles [48 km] south–southeast of Promontory Summit.)
