English: VDV 141S is a Bristol VRT/SL3 fitted with a convertible double deck body by Eastern Coach Works so that it could operate open top services during the summer and as a conventional bus during the winter. It was delivered in 1978 to Devon General as their 941 'Illustrious'. It was later transferred to the parent Western National fleet and renumbered 1003. It was repainted in 2004 with a Great Western Railway livery to commemorate the centenary of the first railway bus services in Cornwall; Western National was formed from these early railway bus services in the 1930s.
