English: VDV 134S is a Bristol VRT/SL3 with convertible Eastern Coach Works body which means that the roof can be taken off and it operate as an open top bus. It was delivered in 1977 as number 934 in the Devon General fleet and named Golden Hind. In 1983 it was transferred to Southern National for services in Weymouth so was renamed Thomas Hardy to give it a local connection. In 2003 the operation was sold to First Hampshire and Dorset and the following year VDV134S was given new fleet number 38664. Withdrawn in 2006 it eventually joined the Chepstow Classic Coaches fleet but in 2013 was sold to North Somerset Coaches and restored to its Southern National identity.
