English: BAS 563 is a Bristol LD6G with Eastern Coach Works body that was built for Southern Vectis in 1956; at that time it carried the registration MDL 952. In the 1970s it was one of five Bristols that were converted for open top work on the Isle of Wight and ran for many years as their number 501. It later spent some years working in the heritage fleet of Quantock Motor Services in Somerset.
