English: Preserved Brighton Corporation Transport bus 23 (registration 23 ACD) is a 1963 Leyland Titan PD2 with Weymann Orion forward entrance/front staircase bodywork. New to Brighton as a conductor operated vehicle, in June 1966 it was converted into the UK's first one-man operated bus, with the driver having to turn around in his seat to issue tickets through a small aperture between the cab and the lower deck cabin, to boarding passengers standing at the foot of the staircase. It's now preserved at the Mid Hants Railway, where it sometimes plays the role of "Bulgy" the bus in Thomas the Tank Engine themed events.
