From the hall with a fountain one can go up a stairway that has four marble cubby-holes (Turkish: papuçluk) on each side for slippers. At the far end is the mihrab, with to its right the minbar, and to it left a kürsü, a chair for preaching on ordinary occassions. It has a dome with windows on all sides in the rim below.
