The L7 postcode area consists mainly of Edge Hill, Kensington (south of Kensington & Prescot Road), and includes the University of Liverpool at Brownlow Hill. There was a post box L7 271 at the junction of Winifred Street & Wavertree Road outside the post office, but this whole area has been demolished and is currently (2017) under development.
