[edit]English: Built in full Hundred Years War, the „Porte de Bise“, North-wind Gate, is so named because of its position on north of the fortifications. Centerpiece of the defensive wall, the Vingtain , a machicolation defended the drawbridge that spanned the moat fed by the Ruillat. A large round tower, by its advanced position, protected all.
Español: Construido en pleno Guerra de los Cien Años, la „Porte de Bise“, Puerta del Cierzo, tiene su nombre de su posición al norte de las fortificaciones. Pieza central de las murallas defensivas, el „Vingtain“ , un matacán defendió un puente levadizo que cruzaba el foso alimentado por el Ruillat. Una gran torre redonda, por su posición avanzada, protegió lo todo.
Français : Édifiée en pleine Guerre de Cent-Ans, la Porte de Bise doit son nom à sa position au nord des fortifications. Pièce maîtresse du mur de défense, le ’’vingtain’’, un mâchicoulis défendait un pont-levis qui enjambait les douves alimentées par le Ruillat. Une grosse tour ronde, par sa position avancée, protégeait l’ensemble.
