The house Poort van Rymborch, also Poort van Gronsveld, was first mentioned in 1324. It was owned by the Lords of Gronsveld, members of the houses of Bronkhorst-Batenburg, Gronsveld or Rimburg. In 1593 Agnes van Bylandt left the property to the Jesuits, who built their monastery nearby and started a Jesuit college on these grounds (shut down in 1773). The property consists of two listed buildings: Bredestraat 12 and Heggenstraat 13.
