English: Pont-l'Évêque is a French cheese, originally manufactured in the area around the commune of Pont-l'Évêque, between Deauville and Lisieux in the Calvados département of Basse-Normandie, and probably the oldest Norman cheese still in production.
Français : Le pont-l’évêque est un fromage français de la région normande, bénéficiant d’une AOC depuis 1972. Il doit son nom au village de Pont-l’Évêque dans le Calvados où il est fabriqué et renommé depuis des siècles, où il était déjà connu au Pays d'Auge en 1230, sous le nom d'Augelot.
