Deutsch: Das Polizeigebäude in der Düppelstraße 23, Ecke Moltkestraße (Kiel-Düsternbrook) wurde 1912 vom Baugeschäft Wilhelm Bustorf als Zweifamilienwohnhaus in Heimatstilformen gebaut.
Nach Ankauf durch den Staat im Jahr 1935 wurde es Dienstgebäude der Geheimen Staatspolizei, die vorher seit 1933 das Polizeipräsidium in der Blumenstraße nutzte.
Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde das Verwaltungsgebäude Sitz des 1. Polizeireviers und 2000 wurde das Mahnmal zur ehemaligen Gestapo-Zentrale der Künstlerin Melanie Pilz (* 1974 in Kiel) errichtet.English: The police building at Düppelstrasse 23, on the corner of Moltkestrasse (district of Kiel Düsternbrook), was built in 1912 by the construction business Wilhelm Bustorf as a two-family residential building in local style Heimatstil.
After it was purchased by the state in 1935, it became the office building of the Secret State Police Gestapo, which previously from 1933 used the police headquarters on Blumenstrasse.
After the Second World War, the 1st police station used the administration building and a memorial to the former Gestapo headquarters by the artist Melanie Pilz (* 1974 in Kiel) was built in front of the building in 2000.
