Arms of Pole: Per pale or and sable, a saltire counterchanged
As borne by the Welshman Sir w:Sir Richard Pole (d.1505), KG, who married w:Margaret Pole, 8th Countess of Salisbury, the only surviving daughter of w:George, Duke of Clarence (by his wife Isabel Neville), a brother of Kings:Edward IV and Richard III.
