The backyard of the old court bears the name of Bernard de Lacarre, canon of Bayonne cathedral in 1168, abbot of Sordes in 1176 and bishop of the diocese in 1185, energetic bishop-admiral commander of the fleet of Richard the Lionheart who left Bordeaux for the crusade.
