Around 1890, architect Frederick Wallen redesigned and rebuilt "Brickett", a former house, on School Lane, Bricket Wood, Hertfordshire, as a summer house for his own use, and for a holiday home for orphan boys from London. It is now known as the Picture House, Bricket Wood. The plaster reliefs on the exterior illustrate sporting activities. The building was damaged by fire in 1953, and when restored it was divided into two residences. It is a Grade II listed building, no. 1102866. For further information, see:
