Bahasa Melayu: Solek Ayam Patah Kepak (Destar Sultan Perak). Dalam etika berpakaian adat Melayu, simbol warna merupakan elemen penting bagi memastikan kedudukan atau status social seseorang itu. Tengkolok yang berwana putih bersulam benang perak ini diberi nama Tengkolok Ayam Patah Kepak, iaitu pakaian hulu DYMM Seri Paduka Sultan Perak Darul Ridzuan, manakala kuning DYAM Raja Muda dan warna hitam pula untuk DYAM Raja DiHilir Perak.
English: The Perak Sultan's Headgear (Solek Ayam Patah Kepak). The colour of textiles and clothing play an important role in Malay culture as it denotes the rank and status of a person. This white headgear embroidered with silver thread, named Rooster with Broken Wings, is the headdress of the Sultan of Perak. The Perak crown prince (DYAM Raja Muda Perak) wears a yellow headgear while the second in line to the throne (DYAM Raja DiHilir Perak) wears black.
