Arms of Pennant: Party per bend sinister ermine and ermines, a lion rampant or (arms of Trevor)
The Pennant family of Downing and Bychton in Flintshire, Wales was descended from (or otherwise connected with) Tudor Trevor, a chieftan of the Marches of Wales (Burke, Sir Bernard, The General Armory, London, 1884 , pp. 789, 316 (re Edwards, same arms, also descended from Tudor Trevor) and bore the same arms.
