According to a testament prepared in 1623 by Sigismund III, the King's possessions included: a gold chain with diamonds, rubies and pearls, with a pendant of letters SA combined together, with a crown at the top and immense pearl at the bottom of King Sigismund Augustus and a jewel in the form of a letter A of diamonds, from which three Uryańskie pearls are suspended. The godfather of Prince Władysław Vasa, archduke Ferdinand of Austria (1578-1637), bought in Augsburg as a gift halsband und clainot (necklace and pendant) from Simon Peyerle. |
