Pauline Diana Baynes (1922-2008) was an English book illustrator, whose work encompassed more than 100 books, notably several by C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien. Baynes is probably best known for her illustrations of The Chronicles of Narnia by Lewis. She also illustrated an edition of stories from "The Arabian Nights".
