Sie entstand in den 1930er Jahren und nimmt in der Ornamentik afrikanische Stilelemente auf. Sie steht am Rande des Afrikaviertels, in dem Straßen nach ehemaligen deutschen Kolonien benannt sind.
English: The Paul Gerhardt Church in Hanover in the Badenstedt district is an Evangelical Lutheran church. It was built in the 1930s and incorporates African stylistic elements in its ornamentation. It stands on the edge of the Afrikaviertel, where streets are named after former German colonies.
