English: Pasture foot refers to a bilateral reciprocal acquired hoof deformity in horses, where one (front) hoof has a low heel and the other one a high heel. Whatever the cause for the initial difference in hoof shape, the affected horse is prone to reciprocate by posture, which will aggravate the imbalance over time.
