English: Parsons Horological Institute, also known as La Porte School for Watchmakers or Parsons Horological School was founded in 1886 in La Porte, Indiana. It moved to Peoria, Illinois in 1892, and became the Horological Department of Bradley Polytechnic Institute when Bradley was formed in 1897.
