Panhard & Levassor Dynamic 140 (series X77 and X81) is the stronger companion to the 2,5 litre Dynamic 130 (series X76). This French luxury car features factory streamlined styling, "Panoramique" windshield a six cylinder sleeve-valve engine with a displacement of 2861 cm³, independent front suspension and rear wheel drive. Earlier examples have a center-position steering wheel, allowing a passenger on each side of the driver on the front bench seat.

Coachwork was done in the Panhard-owned Atéliers Delaugère at Orléans, following an in-house design by Louis Bionnier. The Dynamic was built 1936-1940, a larger-engined was added with the Dynamic 160 (series X80 and X82). The bulk of the dynamics were 140s with 2230 built.
