Arms of the Duchy of Palatinate-Zweibrücken (German: Herzogtum Pfalz-Zweibrücken) was a duchy of the Holy Roman Empire with full voting rights to the Reichstag. Its capital was Zweibrücken. The reigning house, a branch of the Wittelsbach dynasty, was also the Royal House of Sweden from 1654 to 1720. w:Stephen, Count Palatine of Simmern-Zweibrücken (lifespan 1385-1459) (son of w:Rupert, King of the Romans (w:House of Wittelsbach)) married in 1409 w:Anna of Veldenz Countess suo jure of Veldenz, the heiress of Frederick III, Count of Veldenz, the last of the Hohengeroldseck family to rule the County of Veldenz, which thus came into the possession of the Dukes of Palatinate-Zweibrücken
