The Packard Twin Six name was reprised for the new V-12 model offered in the 9th series only. It was a late introduction. While the 9th series was offered after 23 June, 1931, Twin Six and Light Eight followed 9 January, 1932. 9th series ended in January, 1933.

The Twin Six got a new 445,5 c.i. sv V-12 engine delivering 160 bhp @ 3200 RPM. The car was offered with two wheelbases, and there was a Individual Custom series with semi-custom coachwork similar to the Eight Deluxe.

  • 906 Twin Six, wheelbase 147½ in., Individual Custom series

The name "Twin Six" was changed to "Twelve" for the 10th until 17th series (1933-1939). The 1932 Twin Six is often named a Twelve, which does neither correlate wit factory literature nor the car's logos and scripts.

The 1915-1923 Packard is unrelated to the 1932 Packard Twin Six.

The 1919 Packard 905 V-12 land speed record car is unrelated to the 1932 Packard Twin Six 905.
