Deutsch: Die Pädagogische Hochschule in Kiel wurde 1926 gegründet als Pädagogische Akademie zur Volksschullehrerausbildung, wurde 1933 in Hochschule für Lehrerbildung umbenannt und 1941 bis 1945 zu einer Lehrerbildungsanstalt zu Kiel umgewandelt. 1946 wurde sie als Pädagogische Hochschule neu gegründet und 1994 als Erziehungswissenschaftliche Fakultät (EWF) in die Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel integriert. Die Fakultät wurde später aufgelöst, ihre Angehörigen wurden auf die anderen aufgeteilt.

English: The College of education in Kiel was founded in 1926 as the Pedagogical Academy for the training of elementary school teachers, was renamed the College for Teacher Training in 1933 and converted into a teacher training institute in Kiel from 1941 to 1945. In 1946 it was re-founded as the College of education and in 1994 it was integrated into the Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel as the Faculty of Education (EWF). The faculty was later dissolved and its members were distributed among the others.
