Magyar:
Csongrád Our Lady Church. It was built from 1762 to 1769. There was a cemetery in and around the site, with the Chapel of St. Rókus behind it, which was demolished in 1784. The church was supported by local landlords, the Károlyi family of the Count of Nagykároly. The first organ was built in 1778. In 1784 built the tower (ordered by count Antal Károlyi). In 1785, a clock was placed on the tower. In 1791/92 the main Altar was completed. In 1871, the tower's circumwalk was built for the fire watch. Above the main entry the Károlyi family CoA can be see. On the two sides of the church façade are niches with statues of St. John Nepomuki and St. Anthony of Padua. Interior: In 1914–15 the interior of the church was repainted by the painters Ferenc Lohr and Lajos Tary, also at same time, new coloured glass windows were created. The main altarpiece is Mary's Ascension by Lajos Tary in 1917. A replica of a Tiziano painting (the original in Frari Church in Venice, Italy). Next to the pulpit is an 18th-century gilded wooden statue of Mary,-originally probably depicting Maria Theresa,-holding baby Jesus. On the east side is Saint Anne stone Altar 1867 works by György Kölley. On west a lourdes Altar 1884 works its statue bought in Delago Workshop, Tirol, Austria; the next is John of Nepomuk baroque stona Altar, the John of Nepomuk altarpiece painted by Müller in 19892. On mid east is the Merciful Mother altar (1910). At the west chapel is Holy Crosss stone altar with oil painting of Jesus Christ on Cross by István Piroska (boths 1910 works).
