English: The organ of St Matthew and St James is by "Father" Willis and dates to 1874, at which time it had only 40 stops. In 1937 it was rebuilt by Willis & Son, and after the 1940 bombing was dismantled and stored elsewhere. It was restored in 1953 and electrified in 1964 to a specification of 65 stops and four divisions with three manuals and 2500 pipes. It has a secondary console in the nave with restricted capability.
