The Order of the Holy Paraclete is an Anglican religious community, started in 1915 at St Hilda's Priory, Sneaton Castle, Whitby, Yorkshire, England. The former mother house, St Hilda's, shared the site and facilities with the adjacent castle. (Note: there was an independent school in Sneaton Castle, but it closed in 1999).
The Order now has branch houses in St Oswald's Pastoral Centre in Sleights, in Bishopthorpe, Dormanstown, York, Jachie, Ghana, and Sunyani, Ghana. In 2018 the mother house and Sneaton Castle were sold, and the Order moved to a nearby site. For further information, see Order of the Holy Paraclete and the OHP website.
