- English: The Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 is a NASA satellite intended to study the distribution of Earth's atmospheric carbon dioxide and the global carbon cycle. It is a successor to the destroyed Orbiting Carbon Observatory, and was launched on July 2, 2014.
