The steamship Olympia was built 1883 as Passenger Cargo Vessel Dunbar Castle by Barclay Curle & Company Glasgow (Yard No 317 ) for Donald Currie & Co, London. 1895 she was sold to Fairfield S.B Co, Glasgow and renamed Olympia. Later she has many British and American owners. Wrecked 1910 on Bligh Island, Prince William Sound, Alaska on voyage Seattle for Seward with coal and general cargo .
Her dimensions were length × beam = 335 × 38.2 ft (102.1 × 11.6 m) and she had a tonnage of 2682 GRT.[1]
