Afrikaans: Olifantskamp op die noordoewer van die Olifantsrivier, is in 1959 gebou en op 3 Junie 1960 amptelik geopen deur die destydse Raadvoorsitter, F.H. Odendaal. Dis geleë op Mangwandunakrans, wat uitsigte suidwaards oor die Olifantsrivier bied. Met Olifants in aanbou is Gorge (1930 geopen) met 7 hutte gesluit, wat dan tot 1979 as piekniekplek dien. Olifantsstaptoer-basiskamp is sedertdien 5 km wes van voormalige Gorge gesetel.
English: Olifants camp on the northern bank of the Olifants River, was built in 1959 and officially opened on 3 June 1960 by then Board Chairman, F. H. Odendaal. It is located on Mangwanduna outcrop, which offers vistas southwards over the Olifants River.
