English: The former Cass County courthouse, known as the Beardstown Museum, the Old Lincoln Courthouse & Museum, or the Almanac Trial courthouse, sits at 101 West 3rd Street, at State Street, in Beardstown, Illinois, USA. The "almanac trial" of William "Duff" Armstrong, with Abraham Lincoln as his lawyer, took plate here. It was the main county courthouse until the 1870s. It remains a museum with the courtroom still intact upstairs. It was Beardstown City Hall at least twice, most recently from the 1980s (when city offices moved from the old hospital on 15th Street) until the 2000s (when they moved to the Carnegie Library building next door).
